Dinner yesterday at Orchid Country Club. Some event which my family + relatives went. Hard to explain. Lol. Food was good, 8 course meal, just that it was super noisy with old people singing weird songs.

Yesterday was rather fun. But ended so soon.
And so fast Monday’s going to be here already. ): ):
It’s already coming week 4, the whole sem’s about 13weeks, plus still got one week break (don’t know if the 13weeks is inclusive of break or not though), so we’re about 1/3 of our semester already but what have I learnt?!
Very often, we only look at one side, only to turn around and realise there’s another waiting there all along. And you wonder what made you so blind in the first place.
When things fall apart,

Sometimes in life, you make really hard choices.
And this is one. But it’s necessary to close things up.
The faces are so blur, but I still watched it anyway.
Oh, and it’s rather easy to spot LC I realised – the one moving alot and dancing like a mad man.

Caramel ice cream’s nice. Yums.
And after that he bought me one little piece of macaroon from Brakezin, but refused to buy me a pillow thingy for my bed. Boo.
Went Mel’s and Amelia’s room with Shuzh after that. Hanged around, then we used their toliet to bathe. LOL. And we had tea drinking session after that at 12.40am. JAPANESE GREEN TEA!! Damn funny and weird.. And somehow we managed to hang around till 2am plus then we went back to sleep.

Today’s supposed to be my early day (8.30 lesson) BUT thanks to Union Day, (plus I’m pon-ing macro lecture) all lessons from 1030 to 230 has been cancelled! (BUT I’VE STILL GOT A STUPID TUT AT 530-730 LATER!)

He bought the cable car + luge package awhile back, just that we kept procrastinating to go.
The cable car ride was rather scary as it just set off. Too long never sit cable cars already. Hoho. But of course not comparable to the Genting ones which are like much scarier..

I’m back in my hall now. Shuzh’s not back yet. I’m falling asleep so boring. ):
Getting used to hall life + school already. But just yesterday I felt really stressed cos I can’t seem to do tutorial questions. The concepts are fine, but the questions are like in alien language…

And I’ve been skipping alot of tutorial questions. FYI, we only have about 4-5 tutorial questions, and I can skip up to like 3?
Whoever said that JC life is the worse part of your education must be kidding man. I’ve never felt so stressed. Uni is definitely worse. I want to be a small primary school kid again. ):
I’m currently in my hall drinking pepsi twist from canteen 4. You really really need good stamina to walk around in ntu. Everyday in the morning I feel like dying climbing that stretch of slope up to canteen B for lectures. Gosh..
Lectures are a blur. Tutorials are boringgg. I hate maths. I don’t know what the heck are limits and why we need to learn them… Today’s feed the stray cats day with Shu Zhen. Hoho. After lecture today, Amelia, Melissa, Shuzh and I walked around to look at the club fairs + some booths which are selling clothes and blah. Spent like some money goshhh. Bought this ribbon thingy which you can use it to fit around your wrist/tie up your hair/put on your bag etc etc. Original price is like $6.90. But since Amelia and I bought like 2 each, we got it for $5 each. Woots. And and I decided to buy one for Stella cos she seems to like this kind of stuffs. And I got hers for like $4 only. HAHAA. Whee.
Anyway, this is how my jail room looks like. They say it’s like twice the size of other newer rooms, which is rather good. But there’s like a very very sad small window at each sides of the room. (Which is, by the way, drawn with curtains cos it’s really freaky at night.)
Anyway, this is Shuzh’s side of the room. Mine’s like undecorated and boring because I don’t really bother. Bah.
Ignore my face. But but Stella, that’s how the ribbon thingy I bought looks like!!

In the end Melissa and I signed up for photog. We were really intrigued by how they can make really really nice stuffs with positive slides. (Okay I don’t really know what’s that. Film I guess.) HAHA. So just join for fun yo. Fawn you should join too since you have dslr and lend me!!!
Have to buy textbooks wthhhhh.
And I don’t understand maths, why did it suddenly become so chim?!! They should just stick to x and y and z, and not throw in weird things like TR, TQ, TP…. Confuses me only. ): ):
Been 4 days into uni life. Lessons are pretty slack. But hall life is really tiring. ): At first I was rather afraid that I won’t know anybody in hall cos I didn’t go for hall camp, but thank God Shuzh went for hall camp and I’m like joining her OG for practically everything. Nice nice people. (:

Okay, first and only lesson on tuesday was basic maths for econs module or sth like that. Really retarded. They teach you linear equations and quadratic equations… How to complete the square + simultaneous equations….. Hahaha. Okay seems like it’s got sth to do with econs cos of the DD and SS curve, and where they intersect and blah blah. After that I met Stella (She came for SMU CIP) and we had dinner + talked. THEN I WENT HOME. HAHAH. Cos I didn’t go for Jash at Zouk due to various reasons like add/drop period + too rush.

Wed: Learnt microecons. Demand and supply blah blah blah. Went for dinner with Shuzh’s OG. Then went for some Shiseido face care talk or sth like that at our hall’s function room. Was my first night sleeping in hall. Kept waking up cos maybe not used to it?

Thurs: 2hrs lecture only. from like 8.30-10.30am. Retarded. Went for lunch at NIE with Melissa + Amelia + Carmen (My hall friends.) We had Western food! Food was damn good. Portion really big too. Why can’t Canteen B’s (the canteen nearest to my school) food be more edible.. ): I realised that NTU stuff are all really cheap. Mac’s cheap too. Heard that breakfast most expensive is only $4.55? Damn worth. Shall go try one day. Hoho. Met Shuzh and her friend and we went Jurong Point to walk around. And we caught UP. Really sweet and sad story. Funny too. Haha. And somehow it feels like school term hasn’t start yet. Everyday play play play? Sighhhhh. Gary must be mad to score 5.0 for GPA and he’s staying in hall?!?! Like no time to study arh.
Hall welcome dinner in the evening that day. Buffet dinner. Then the og went to have HTHT (heart-to-heart talk). Went back hall only at like 10pm to bathe. TELL ME HOW TO STUDYYYY. And for the past 2 days they’ve been asking for supper (which Shuzh and I didn’t go).

I guess next week will be full swing already. This week’s rather slack cos tutorials haven’t started yet, so please don’t think that my uni life’s so so slack.

Went ntu early in the morning yesterday with T to collect hostel keys. Damn longgggggg journey man. Wonder how am I going to survive from year 2 onwards cos highly doubt I can get a place in hall. ):
After that we met up with my dad + Ger + Julius which he sent us to the Civil Service Club for some bowling competition. I didn’t take part laaa. The others just joined for fun. Haha. Okay in short, Ger’s dad got 3rd place, and Gary got 2nd. Whee. Like every year these 2 will get something. Haha. T and I didn’t bowl, and we were happily snacking away on food. Like party like that. Hoho.

We are actually pointing to our braces anyway. It’s red + white. Ger’s and mine’s red on top, white below, while Pris’s ones are red and white alternate. Hahah. Sorry that we didn’t tell you must put our way laaa.
After that we went to the association for prize giving + dinner buffet! We were early so we went to play around at the stage area with the trophies.

Went down ntu AGAIN just now to clean up the room. Shuzh came too. Plus our parents. Damnnn dirty okay the room. Infested with lizards + their shit. ): I think the room looks like some prison. We have small pathetic windows that’s facing a slope. wth. But at least it’s super near my school? But urgh.. Feels so sad looking at the place’s condition. And the toliet… omgg. Like public toliet like that. Sigh.
Stella and I are like 2 sad case people. Everyday we talk we’ll be complaining and complaining about stuffs. ): Will see her in ntu on tues and wed cos she’s coming down for cip. Sighhhh why didn’t she choose econs. Now both of us are like regretting. ): ):

Watched another round of Harry Potter HBP yesterday night after dental with Ger, Julius and T. Hahaha. Thanks to Ger for the free tix. It didn’t feel nice watching it the 2nd time though, cos you know what’s going to happen… plus it was real dark and I felt like sleeping..
Century Square’s cinema is really really not conducive to watch a movie. With creaking chairs, and noisy viewers… Felt like slapping them to shut up gosh.
Now our braces’ Red and White hoho. Not patriotic, just wanted to try out 2 colours and just nice here’s the season for it. (:
My appetite’s been bloody bad the past 2 weeks. Stupid camp served us horrible food which made me only eat like half a packet every meal. And now my stomach’s bad bad. ): How to fatten up like that?!
I’m soo not looking forward to school. Yesterday Nurul and I had a bad confusing time trying to add modules, and changing our already given core courses so that we can be in the same tut group. Uni is just confusing. Every bit of it. Like what’s the diff between UE and errrr…… GER. Okay I don’t want to go on about it. Makes my head hurts. Plus plus. Getting around the school is a major headache. They look the same everywhere. And even the seniors were saying how they still get lost in the school in year2. Sighh. I want to stay in JC forever. Nono. I want to stay home and slack forever. Please rewind time to the day Alevels ended. )):
Oh. My first sem modules consist of: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and BASIC MATHEMATICS FOR ECONOMICS. HAHAHA.
Sounds like I’m going to relearn everything from JC. Hopefully it’ll be like the same and I’ll ace my exams?? GPA 5.0!! (Yeah right.) And most likely I’m taking Socio and Psych electives. Sounds like tons of writing for me. Sigh.
Edit: Fawn fawn just sent me a link of the General Education Prescribed Electives and there are so many interesting electives to take! Like photog, Java, Computer hardware blah blah blah. Sounds so fun hahaha. I hope these are like you just go learn and no exams!!
